Hi, I just started playing around with the idea of building a PVR. I bought a PVR-150 and installed it in my current computer to play with and so far I like GBPVR for the software. I am running into one problem though after I have EPG update my channels they skip from 230 to 249. There are several channels in there that I need to record from. When I go to Zap2it and select dishnetwork and Kansas City it shows the channels. I tried to add them manually they still don't show in the guide. From reading other posts I don't think I would get the programming for them anyway. Anyone have any ideas as to what to try??

If you log into http://labs.zap2it.com using your username/password, does your channel lineup show these channels as being included?

When I log in the channels I'm missing do show up. I basically have it show all the dishnetwork channels al 779 of them I'm going to have to change that. I noticed that the channels I added are at the end.

Sorry, its not clear - so you now have the channels in GB-PVR, but they're listed at the end of the tv guide? If so, just change the channel numbers listed on the Channels tab of config app. This will change the ordering.

If you dont have the channels at all in GB-PVR, email me your zap2it username and password and I'll take a look. support@devnz.com

Sub thanks for the quick responses! I wasn't very clear in the last post, guess I should have read it after I typed. Well I got it fixed. I went to Zap2it and edited it down to around 170 channels.  I brought up GBPVR config and emptied EPG but it didn't delete the channels just the programming. Then I deleted the the capture source and created a new one. When I updated the EPG it worked fine and a lot faster.

Is there an easier way to dump unwanted channels? I'm probably going to do some more fine tuning at Zap2it to eliminate more channels after I talk to the wife and make sure she agrees. Thanks for the help!!
