I like that all the data and editable files are in a separate directory from the application. When I installed NPVR, I was given the chance to choose another location other than the default to install NPVR but not where to put the DATA directory.

I want to put the data on my d: drive, away from all the activity and fragmentation that takes place on the c: drive? Is it possible to just put the data on another drive or do I have to install the application on the d: drive as well?

I don't mind doing that but I wonder if I did, would the installer put the data directory on the c: drive anyways? If that's the case, would you consider in an update to split the definition of where these two parts are located?

Uninstall, change the registry value for the DataDirectory and then run setup again.

Since it seems to be based on a registry key, could I also, after doing a normal installation, exit NPVR and then copy the data directory to the d: drive and then change the registry key to point to the new location, and then delete the old data directory on the c: drive?

UPDATE: I looked in the registry and the only keys I found for NPVR were(Default), DECODER_H264 and LastChannel.

Granted, I didn't go through the entire configuration steps from the SETTINGS pull-down menu but the Installler did put data directories in users\public\npvr

Martin, I did change the data directory and it installs fine (so far) but I noticed after I installed Web Radio that it does not put the uninstaller in the plugin/webradio directory. In fact, I can't find it at all. Webradio appears to be working but after installing your latest update for it, it looks a bit different. Don't see podcasts and the groups are not the same. I was able to copy the uninstaller from the back up and it differs from what I thought was the latest version. Which one is correct?
The second pic is what I think is what I should be seeing.

Paul neither are correct, the left is the Default beta view (with the Beatles channel) the left is an older pre-podcast view of the Add On. If you run the add on installer again you should get podcast.

The uninstallers are placed in "Program Files" where binaries are supposed to be.
