.MTS files

I'm trying to view these files in the video library but the screen goes blank for a split second and then goes back to the menu. I am able to play them in windows media player fine but not in npvr. I've changed to all the different decoders available but none seem to work. Not sure what else to try. Thanks.

edit: These are files created by a digital camcorder that I copied over the the PC.

Nevermind, I read several thrads down about the m4v files and tired the windows 7 codec pack as well. These now play in npvr.
