"Confirm delete" in Recordings

I note that in config.xml there is

<ConfirmOnDelete>true</ConfirmOnDelete>

is this the correct setting to enable for confirmation of deletion of recordings? If so, presumably this is still a placeholder, as it didn't seem to be functional in 1.5.33 yet.

Just a reminder, Confirm-On-Delete wirks in Video but not in Recordings even it's supposed to be implemented.

same here... that's 2 i deleted...one from a client...
they also seem to be gone forever as none of my undeleters can find a thing...like it gets wiped..?! is it not a standard deletion mechanism?
even scrubs of entire drive find nothing of the deleted file...[even tho they find tons of other anciently deleted files years old]
i can easily find files i delete with explorer or other methods, there seems to be something different about the way files get deleted, going way back...

if they were undeletable, it wouldn't be such a problem...but when accidentally deleting a file in npvr or pvrx2, it's gone, don't even bother to try to find anything...
the drives had hundreds of gigs of free space so i doubt it got overwritten in the seconds it took to start undeleting..

pBS are you using 1.5.36? I do get a popup to confirm in recordings.

well, that was about a week ago so was 1.5.33 most likely..
does seem to be working in latest version...whew..[had to make backup to test]
