I was successfully running Reven's xmlTVNZ for some time but recently I reformatted my Windows 7 PC and could not get it working again (and it appears to no longer be supported) so found EPG Collector which is working fine for my DVB-T programming. Occasionally I want to record something from the output of my cable STB so I need either the cable/Sky EPG or to manually control my PVR. As it is NPVR and sub has not yet instigated manual recording (though I see from a comment of his that it is in what is probably a looong queue of todo's), can anybody please point out how I can get the EPG for cable/Sky (which I could with xmlTVNZ)? I don't have a dish and my tuner is a WinTV-HVR-2200 (DVB-T and Analogue). This problem is not big enough to make me reinstall GBPVR.

This grabber for NZ EPG was posted in General recently http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...downloader

I have no idea what data you can get with it but it may be worth a look.

Thanks Jaggy. Setting the EPG source for the analogue channels to the xml file created by the grabber that you suggested, STSnzXML, works fine for getting the EPG data not available on the MHEG source. In fact it it could be used for the other channel channels too but there was one that wouldn't load a schedule so I'm sticking with EPG Collector for the DVB-T channels as NPVR permits a different EPG source for the digital tuners.

Have you tried EPGCollector from Cable? Or don't you have a dvb-c capture installed?

No Reddwarf, I don't have have a DVB-C capture installed. To record cable I need to set the channel on the STB manually and program NPVR to record its fixed output channel. I don't do it much and when I do I run the risk of forgetting to set the STB or having someone else in the house change channel on me. I've not actually looked into a DVB-C capture card but expect that, as our cable transmission is digital and subscription based it won't suit anyway.

I use subscription smartcard with dvb-c with cardserver (NewCS) and softcam (Acamd) and it works great here. Anyway even without a smartcard I get epg for all channels using DVBCollector. At least here it don't seems like the epg is encrypted, but in your case it maight be expensive to buy a capturecard just for the epg. Still, those small usb dvb-c sticks can be bought pretty cheap from China or Singapore Smile
