I have changed the recording Directory path for my server to B:\temp but my client still uses c:\temp.
When I start Live TV on the client I only get a "Live TV buffer directory does not exist: B:\temp" (or something similar).

Do I have to use the same folder path both on server and client?

You shouldnt have to. If you can post the client logs and config.xml, I'll take a look.

I just saw something similar today, the client is looking for the server's buffer directory on the client.

Yes I could post the logs, but it seems like a simple bug:
The client expect to find the Live TV buffer in the directory from the server setting for:
<LiveTVBufferDirectory>

The default setting is C:\Temp for both and then it is no problem.

I reset my setting (to the one I really want) to reproduce the problem for the logs sake.
They do not say much. I started to watch a channel on my client and got the "can't find B:\temp"
Which is as expected as that folder is set for buffer directory on he server not on the client.
