This morning I discovered that three shows which werein fact recorded were still shown as pending by NPVR - in one case nearly two days later
The Nrecord log shows recordings starting and stopping correctly, but the NPVR log has overflowed three times and isn't much use, I think. I tried to stop everything so as to be able to zip the logs, but the system could not stop the recording service - it said - although the log - I think - shows it did stop. Logs are attached. I had to zip a copy of the Nrecord log because the system thought it was still in use. If you restart to clear the lock, the logs all roll over and I would lose the .3 log
Adter a restart everything looks normal, shows show up in the data base etc
I thought for a while that this was due to status page, and started a thread about it last week, but it seems as though it isn't
I suppose you need a decent NPVR log, but it overflows so fast it is hard to get a good one. Can I change the config in some way so that the logging is less verbose, and there is more of a chance of seeing what happens to NPVR???
