Way to inhibit recordings?

I note npvr has a disable option for each tuner. Is such a thing possible with gbpvr or is there a sneaky way to stop the recording service attaching to a tuner? Is it possible to edit the existing tuners to non-existant devices without upsetting things?

I ask because I would like to let gbpvr keep running to double check for upcoming season recordings that are not yet in a loaded EPG. I am deleting them from gbpvr as they are populated into npvr

hmmm, possibly by setting recording directory to a non-existent dir, it wouldn't record but still show you upcoming selections...
not sure if it'll error out and get stuck tho...might wanna test it..
usually i just uncheck channels from the tuner, but that won't work for what you need..

better idea, change the capture source setup to a card you don't have...
or the 'nul tuner'

Cheers - That is what I'm going to try tomorrow - anything to prevent it using a tuner and stopping npvr getting hold of it.
