I have been changing settings SOOO much and installing other bits and pieces (Intervideo WinDVD, Cyberlink PowerDVD etc) that I don't know what may have caused this but if I record to Microsoft Mpeg4 or DIVX I get REALLY nice picture quality - much better that poxy old on the fly MPEG2 but the audio doesn't play - If I play it in Media Player it attempts an audio codec download and fails and GSpot reports the Audio being PCM and no codec required but when I tell GSpot to render the streams is fails. I can still play back an MPEG4 captured program I captured previously fine so I'm at a loss?
