I transfer all the .ts files recorded with NPVR to a WD TV Live media player. There is a problem fast forwarding these files when playing back, with the player jumping around, sometimes backwards or forwards by a random amount.
There was a suggestion on the WD forum that this was due to "sequence headers" being spaced far apart.
Are these headers part of the broadcast stream, or does NPVR generate them.
If so, is it possible to make them happen much more frequently.
If not, could I post-process the file, and generate more of them?
Cheers
