I think the reason this question came up is because when watching on the Popcorn Hour there is a problem in NPVR and some of these files don't get deleted automatically. It is a major annoyance for PCH users and sub is aware of it.

Well they do say brevity is the soul of wit or something like that. I just figured there was no more to say than that, and left it to the poster to ask any follow-up questions rather than try to guess.

Are you running the current release (I suppose you'd have to be, since you joined the forum just this month)? The bug that prevented those files from being deleted was fixed a release or two ago (at least for watching on the NPVR machine; I'm sure Martin is correct that there is still a bug for the NMT/PCH use case). I do find the occaisional straggler still, but they mostly get deleted.
Before the bug was fixed, I had a PostUpdateEPG.bat take care of them each night:

Nope the bug is still there, I'm also a NPVR/PCH user who has to delete masses of TS files every few days. The Del command in the PostUpdateEPG.bat is a good idea..
I ' m so sorry. I made a mistake. Infact The file .ts in c:\temp was cancelled when I finished waching live TV on my PC. Instead when I watch Live Tv on my Tv trough pch it doesn' t get cancelled. OK! I know it is a bug .
Now I have an other problem. The MDPlugin for descrambling encripted channels works wery well when I watch live Tv on pc. Insted when I watch Live Tv on my Tv with pch I see a black screen, but in c:\Temp the temporary file .ts has been correctly created and descrambled as well
