I hope someone can help. I am trying NPVR 1.5.36 with all the latest patches (as of 24-01-11). Everything seems OK apart from the fact that I get no control buttons - play, pause, rewind etc. The Hauppauge remote works but seems sluggish. I still have GB-PVR 1.4.7 installed and the controls are there and the remote control response is fine. I'm using the same video renderer and decoder for both (EVR and Cyberlink Power DVD 10) so am not sure what is causing the problem. I have attached my logs. Anyone any ideas?

It's not a problem as such; NPVR just doesn't have on-screen controls for manipulating the video playback.

What exactly do you mean? Still the remote should work just as in gbpvr

Thanks for your replies guys. I hadn't realised that NPVR doesn't have on-screen video control buttons any more. They were in GBPVR 1.4.7 and I just assumed they would still be there.
The remote takes about 5 seconds to respond if I pause, stop or play etc in NPVR whereas it was instant in GBPVR. Not sure why but will investigate further. Thanks for the info on LM remote imagn I'll check it out.

It's not quite the same but you can click on the timeline to navigate, and you can right click to get a menu to play/pause/stop.

Well, I cannot click on the timeline to navigate. I read a lot about this, since I am missing that functionality (as well as volume control with cursor keys). It is declared for all skins that it should work, but it does not work for me with any skin. What am I missing??
I missed a lot that functionality - that is the main reason I am still on PVRX2. Though not the only one. Smile
