I've been using GBPVR alongside NPVR. I'm still on analog land and the xmltv file used as EPG source is the same for both programs.

GBPVR loads all available listings correctly, but NPVR only loads for about 15 channels, the others are empty.

I've checked a couple of the missing ones, and they seem to be correctly configured in Settings->Channels.

I forced an update from within NPVR (through System plugin) at 14:30 today, give or take. It ran until about 19:00, and got the same results.

I've attached all recently changed logs, and my source xmltv file.

EDIT: my search skills failed me on this one. No endtimes problem, sub? But if so, why would some get imported and others don't?

These are the listings it pulled in. Do these sound about right, or do you think there are other channels that should also have go listings?

I would expect 40 channels, not 21. Anyway... found the solution.

And I feel silly... although maybe it is something to look into... You have to manually open/edit the channels, and click the ok button (no changes needed), for the channel mapping to "lock-on" the xmltv listings (I'm talking about Settings->Channels).

Frankly, since I used the same xml file to add/import the channels, it never occured to me to try it.

What made me notice it, were the "SIC" listings getting imported. There were none previously, and I had opened it for editing today.

Is this as designed, or is there a flaw in the import channels routine?

EDIT: there has to be some sort of flaw in it. Through Bulk Map, if we open the dropbox, choose the channel again, ok'it and Update EPG, nothing changes. If we open the dropbox choose another one, then choose the correct/original one, Update EPG works.

If you import any channels from an xmltv file, then it should already be locked on to that channel in the xmltv file (unless the name subsequently changed). I've not seen any situations where it isnt.

If you can reproduce the problem on an empty database with your xmltv file, let me know and I'll try to reproduce it here with the same file and fix it.
