Inset Video

Sub, I played around with the TV Guide screen which wasted space on an HD monitor and I came with this which I like, since having the inset video is much more like all the commercial DVR products I have seen.

Is there any chance that you are going to support inset video on the NMT?

Nah, you need to cut the number of visible channels in half, reduce the time period to barely 90 minutes, plaster the screen in adverts, and make it all run like a dog. Only then will it start to rival commercial DVRs.

Personally, I prefer the F1 overlay on top of Live TV/Video. That way you get the benefit of a full screen's worth of guide, but still have picture and sound behind it.

This uses the same as Default rows=8, I just moved it down and I find it easier to watch especially when I surf. The old guide is still there too, just copied to LiveGuide.xml.
