Which is the Sky HD stuff?

I think their epg is just EIT on dvb-s rather than DVB-S2, but I could be wrong.

lost@c Wrote:Not quite the same topic, but I see you are using EPG collector and I'm wondering if you have had any luck configuring it for the 3 DVBs-2 channels we can get in NZ. I can recieve the channels fine and can get epg data from the dvb stream but I just cant get it to collect with the collector

I have finally got hold of a HVR-4000 & I am about to have a play to see if I can get the "reported available in NZ" FTA Aus S2 channels that you reported in another thread were on
Quote:"12398,V,11909,23,174" The 174 is needed with the older Hauppauge cards - not sure about yours though
do you still get these channels? & I assume they are the ones you are trying to get EPG data for? if I can get them working I will have a play with EPGCollector & see if I have any luck & report back with the results.

Yes I do. (they are quite good too) 1=12398,V,11909,23,174 is the data for the ini file. Would be good to see how you get on with EPG collector.

Sorry for the delay getting onto this (man I didn't realise it was so long ago...time flies & all that)....

I have the Nine Network S2 free channels all up & running fine (thanks for the ini settings, the wife is wrapped in them & there is a HEAP of recording going on WinkBig Grin)

I ended up having to ask for support for collecting the EPG data with EPGCollector but it's all up & running now using the pre-version of 3.2 from this thread https://sourceforge.net/projects/epgcoll...ic/4848748 ...... hope this helps.
