I'm trying to launch/control NPVR with Eventghost. I'm running into a few strange issues (in Win7):

1) If I use "Start Program" in Eventghost NPVR is launched but for some reason does not get focus. Other programs launched in this way seem to get focus properly.

2) If I do a "Bring To Front" in Eventghost for the NPVR window it does get focus but the NPVR window is blanked/blacked out until I press the down/up arrow?

Any ideas? Thanks.

I used to have Problem 1 with EventGhost, but it seems to have gone away at some point for me. My original solution was to add a 2.0 second wait to ensure NPVR had time to load, then a mouse movement to the upper left corner of the screen, followed by a single click to force focus. For whatever reasons I no longer need that, it just works now. Instead of the 2.0 second wait, it would probably be more elegant to just have a macro triggered by the creation of the NextPVR window; that's what I would do now if I needed it.

I believe at one point I had tried forcing focus with the Bring To Front command, but had no success so resorted to the mouse move/click.

Thanks. I combined "Start Program" followed by a "Bring To Front" and then added an UP arrow press at the end of my macro and it seems to work pretty well. Still kind of strange behavior for some reason.
