I have been using ImageGrabLite for a while and have asked Martin if it is possible to also download fanart when the poster is downloaded. He's up for it only if NPVR has a subdirectory or two to contain them (perhap under media somewhere, one for movies and one to TV Series).

Therefore I'd like to see if something like that could be added to NextPVR sometime in the future. Thanks.

I'll try to add one for the next release.

Why would you need separate locations for movies and tv? If all NPVR is going to do is search by filename for someshow.jpg/showmovie.jpg then all that's going to do is slow it down by making it search in two locations rather than one?

(I'm only asking because of the fun I'm having with Videos+ and making it fast with network searches).

Since, I asked for this distinction I thought I'd explain my rationale. I wanted a way to distinguish downloads from themoviedb.com and tvdb.org/tvrage.com when there was the same title. It's optional implementation for sure because it leaves it to the plugin to determine which to use.

Speed won't always be an issue in Canada/US because the episode field starts with MV for movies so you can search it first, if you are doing scheduled_recording tables queries or you do a join on playback_position, which you need to query anyway to get the watched indicator.

Later I want another fanart folder for music artists for the same reason.
