LNB advice?

Sorry, can't help with satellite suggestions that you haven't already covered.
All my old messing around was with analogue and big dish and it seemed that there was something interesting everywhere you pointed at least from 27W to 20-odd east. (ah, the good old days).

I had hair back in the good old days, now my 7 week old daughter has more hair than me

Things I have learned for UK (at least).

Apparently fine to go up to 1 metre wide dish in most planning areas provided it is the ONLY dish you have.

NextPVR will not work automatically with a motorised dish, i.e. you would still have to drive it somehow, and also most PC driven DVB-S cards will not provide the power enough to drive a motor. In danger of frying something other than your morning bacon.......

I am going to buy a 80cms dish and a 3 way multiconnector anyway and hang my quad pointing @ 28.0E off it, with single LNB's pointing at the other 2 sats mentioned, and see what I get.

I also have yet to work out all this multidec etc stuff..... may be when I retire
