Recordings Stopped Short

Well after promising this would be more reliabke than my VCR in the past, I found that my first two recordings (of my wife's favourite show, no less! stopped after only about 10 minutes....although I saw no indication of this in the list of recorded shows. What could have happened? Is is possible that my screen saver kicked in and fouled something up? I'm going to try again tonight after disabling screen saver. That's the only thing I can think of.

What does your gpvrrecordingservice.exe.log say? Same for the native version of the same log.

In the past some users had recordings that would regularly just stop mid way through. GB-PVR though the recording was still in progress but the PVR card had just stopped producing video data. This was caused by the PVR card IRQ being shared with other devices (often a sound card or onboard sound device).

This may be your problem?
