I'm making the leap from GBPVR to NPVR. Everything has gone fine, EXCEPT that half of my TV channels display a double image - both in Live viewing and recorded playback. The video image is only about half of what would normally be seen on the screen and is repeated, side by side. I reopened GBPVR and checked these channels (they're displaying correctly in GBPVR) then checked the video decoder settings, and set them up the same in NPVR. Changing the video decoders did not change the double image. Only digital "split" channels have the double image. i.e. channel 10.1 is fine, but 10.2 & 10.3 have double images, channel 21.1 is fine, but 21.2 & 21.3 are doubled. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

It could only be caused by the video decoder or video renderer though.

10.1 and 21.1 are probably HD 16:9, while the sub channels are probably SD 4:3. This is a known issue with the VMR9 renderer. If you're running Vista or 7, just use the EVR renderer. If you're running XP, use VMR9 Custom or FSE (or upgrade).

Using XP - VMR9 Custom did the trick. Thank you VERY much!
