NPVR addon slow startup?

I want them too, and use them daily with x-newa to get the west coast feeds, but 2 minute startups are a drag right now while they don't work.

Talking of groups, is it possible to delete the default groups from NPVR? I have 'All Channels', 'Digital Channels', 'DVBS channels' and 'Astra 2 Eurobird 1 28.2E' that can't be deleted or renamed.

You should be able to delete all the groups other than "All Channels" in NextPVR in Settings->Channels->Groups. I just tried any it let me delete them.

It allows me to delete the groups but they are not permanently deleted (after deleting, click OK to close channel groups but the 'deleted' groups are still in the epg and when I open channel groups they are back again).

Is there a config file that I can edit?

Did you close and restart NextPVR? I did and they're still gone. If you didn't restart the app the TV Guide screen may have cached it.
