Help: MCE IR Receiver/Blaster setup

Hi guys I need a little help, I recently moved to xbmc after years of running Windows Media Center.

I'm a little stuck, I've used other pvr for xbmc but so far the experience I've had with nextpvr its the best offered for xbmc.

My problem is I don't know how to setup the MCE IR Receiver/Blaster to work with my set top box.

I currently have IR server suite installed, it worked well for me with mediaportal but I don't know how to get it to work with nextpvr to my set top box.

Please any help is appreciated.

System Specs: AMD Athlon II Dual Core 2.8GHz, 4 GB RAM, Hauppauge: WinTV-HVR-1600 & HD-PVR, 42 inch Samsung Series 5 & 6 HDMI Win 7 System Rating 5.3

Try blasting with IRSS "test" before actually telling npvr to change channels. You may have to try different ports on your IR blaster. Also, please note that some versions of IRSS have bad blasters - do a search in the forums about that.

One question about qam listings, I scan but get nothing, when I dod the same scan using a different pvr I get all my qam channels.

Am I missing something, are my tuners (Hauppauge 1600 and 1800) incompatible with nextpvr?

Graham, can you point me to the log files, I see nothing about log files in the nextpvr sub folders.
