Auto Windows Firewall Exception Option

Maybe would be an idea to include making a firewall exception for NEWA's port upon installation or when enabling the web interface in options?
Similar to how uTorrent has one and other programs alike.

would prevent a few support issues..

yeah, many programs do offer to add exceptions to the Windows firewall while installing. I assume there's some sort of API call for doing that.

My NSIS based installer (NMTInstall2) for NextPVR will
- run elevated - stop the recording service - kill Ntray.exe and optionally - run the current NPVR setup - apply the johnsonx42 patches - open the MS firewall - download and install .Net 2.0 - download and install the directx runtime - download and install the media player 9 Sub took a lot of wind out my sail when he told me he didn't want me installing patches, he preferred this be done on a case-by-case basis as required. The weak part is people who use their own firewall or internet protection suite, or those so an*l that the want to restrict NextPVR apps by port and not simply to the local LAN. Martin
