import recording not working?

sub have you tried the import single recording function lately? I have a recording that somehow disappear from the database during an Archive operation, so I went to import it in Settings->Recordings->Import Recordings. When I select the .ts file it just says "Not metadata is available for this .ts file. Recording not imported".

The metadata is there though:

Originally the filename field had the original path, not the current path so I tried updating it, but it didn't change anything.

Do you get any error in the npvr.log when you try to do this import?

no, there's nothing at all logged when I do an import, so that's why I didn't bother posting the log.

Having had a good look at it, I think this single-recording-import feature was never working properly. The attached patch should fix it though.

Yes, that worked fine though completely silent; as it already has several failure dialogs, a success dialog that says "Recording Imported" would be a nice touch.

I think you are right that it never worked; I seem to recall trying it once before with the same result.

On a related note, I saw that recordings moved by the Archive function don't get their path updated in the metadata. Ought that be fixed, or does it really not matter?

When I saw this I thought of maybe updating IGL too but it seemed like it would serve no purpose if when it is imported it is ignored. On top of that I archive to a NAS that doesn't support ADS.
