Nextpvr Connection Lost

Hi

I've been using MythTV for a while very successfully. However, as I/we do a lot of channel hopping it aint the fastest in switching channels - about 14 seconds per switch. Short of adding in code myself I don't think it's on the cards to be addressed.

I've been trying to get nextpvr to work in a simlilar manner to my MythTV setup - I have several rpis with rasbmc on as clients. However, I've been trying for a couple of days now to get it to work. All I seem to get is pvr connection lost and/or no pvr client addon started.

I've sifted through dozens of web pages and tried their fixes but none hve worked for me. I've reinstalled from scratch in case there was some left over on the systems but still no joy.

Just got in from work and had a read around the site. Noticed the sticky that metions about adding log files. Here they are.

Have you opened the firewall on the computer running NPVR ?

Can you also post the backend's web.log file?

Do you ever see the channel list in XBMC, or does it never get that far?
