Why XBMC with NPVR?

Does XNEWA allow for schedule-based recordings with the NextPVR at this time?

Yes...and X-NEWA also has one more advantage...it allows you to watch an in-progress recording...if you use XBMC it will stop at the point you started playing where the recording was up to...
