I hate Comcast

Yes, the nemesis to my PVR system has done it again, they played musical chairs with all the frequencies at some point today. Now I get to spend my evening remapping all our channels.

My wife says I'm a hater. I hate Comcast.:eek:

I feel your pain. They did that to me in St. Paul a couple of weeks ago. And I didn't discover it for a couple of days, so we ended up with several "wrong" recordings. :-(

I also hated them on clear QAM. No problems so far using a cablecard (6mo) regarding channel remappings.

When I was with Comcast (cancelled a couple months ago), they hadn't changed frequencies in a long while, but had done it a number of times before, which I didn't notice until missing a number of recordings. I even put together a procedure which included manual recordings to record 1 minute off each clear-QAM channel I used, then looked to make sure none of them were zero length, which I run every day before prime-time.

Of course, after I made that routine, they never changed the frequencies.
