So WOL is Wake on Lan, what about WOL would make using the NMT better?

Would I just install a usb and it would improve WOL. What size USB?

WOL would be used to wake you NextPVR host from sleep mode. Sounds like you don't need it.

I currently have a drive in an A100 (use and need WOL here). I think I would have gone back to USB flash if it hadn't kept getting knocked as people passed by!.
If there was a USB socket on the back I would have gone back to using USB. I ought to buy one of these itsy bitsy tiny sticks compared to my old big one - but I've never got round to it. I suspect I have to reboot the NMT less often with the hard drive, but that wasn't that often anyway.

The old MVP and NMT made gbpvr/npvr such a wonderful tool - thanks sub and Martin

Assuming you are doing that for WOL, you need to install mvpmcx2 on the USB with the NMTinstall and then modify the scripts to run WOL. That's just a few MB, so any size will do.

I haven't seen many (any?) SSD's with an IDE interface though and never had any success with the IDE/SATA adapter thingies.

Yea you are right the PCH A100 has IDE as I have one and I use a IDE to 32GB CF Card with a IDE to CF adapter.

Below is the one I used for my PCH A100 hope this helps. Yes you will have around 50 bucks in it but it is about the same for a 32GB SSD Drive Smile

32 GB CF Card http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-Compact-...102&sr=1-8

Adapter http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Compa...cf+adapter

IDE Female to Male http://www.amazon.com/40-Pin-Male-Female...B005IQWH98

How I secured the CF Adapter is I wrapped the IDE Cable around the Adapter and Card and used out a wire tie around it so it would not short out to anything I know not the best but it works.
