nextpvr can do that, just nextpvr for samsung cant really. you could use a video importer to import all your other files as recordings (but imo this is messy).

why would you want to stop using plex?

fixed the issue, was related to no channels being in nextpvr db. will be fixed in the next build.

Only reason to stop using it would be to have just an "All in one" app.

Will the TV tuner allow me to get live tv and switch channels (like a built in antenna) or will I still need my cable for that?

it should let you watch live tv and recordings just fine, i have had one user (out of around 25) report playback doesnt work for them. i need to narrow this down more, but no one else has reported any issues regarding complete playback failure. and most users are from the US.
