Since the frequency change was made my EPG has been more reliable although I do see occasional gaps. Rescanning the EPG on that day doesn't fill in the gaps but 24 hours later, they're gone. Before we made the frequency change, up to 50% of my EPG had gone missing.

If you're not seeing any EPG...does a scan find NKWA Radio and are you able to listen to it? It's transmitted on the same frequency?

I re-scanned using my Hauppauge S2 tuner ,deselected all channels and then selected NKWA.
I then listened to NKWA for a few seconds, exited NPVR ,restarted the program, and like magic the EPG for the existing BBC and ITV satellite channels appeared for the rest of the day.

I then ran the EPG update and it worked ok and shows the schedule until the end of the week.

Not sure why this worked,perhaps the existing frequencies were updated ?

Ok I re-tuned and looked for the NKWA radio station, it was found, however it came in on the old frequency.
And therefore I could NOT listen to it.

any ideas?

If you're re-scanning, is the new frequency included in the Astra satellite frequency ini file? [ NVPVR/tuning/DVB-S directory]

ok have re-scanned on both tuner cards now and they both see NKWA radio and can listen.
However having had one successful freesat EPG capture I no longer get anything.
I am also now getting flaky information on the normal DVB-T reading.
I wonder if I need to completely flush my db and start again.

Something's not quite right. Kingofsat lists the Freesat (& NWKA) home frequency as 11425 H however it then lists other channels (such as CBS Reality) as 11426 V. Lyngsat lists both as 11426 (same H & V polarisation).
I'm beginning to think Lyngsat is right and that the correct frequency is 11426 as I've never seen channel frequencies only 1 apart on any satellite. (This would still be a move from the old 11428 centre frequency)

Anyone else got any thoughts?

Something's not quite right.

I set up a test.ini file for 19.2 with four lines

and set it off for a scan with the following result - nothing on 426.

happened to me to. seems that when changing capture dev. i copied the channels. this didnt work for epg. had to delete channels and rescan to get it to work.
