Can you kindly help me check the logs?

In particular, could you look for the recurring recordings that have the titles "CH8_1900_SHOW_HD" (recording from 1900 to 2200) and "CH8_2100_SHOW_HD" (recording from 2058 to 2200)?

Could you check the reason why they are not able to be recorded?

Cos I have 3 tuners available, and they are fully occupied, but one of the frequencies that 1 of the tuners is recording, is the one that the above 2 recordings are using, so by right they should be able to be scheduled. But when I ran "NextPVR -recurring", the pending recordings are not generated.

Unfortunately they're not shown in your logs. The reschedule of your zillions of (suspicious looking) recordings have filled the nrecord log files, so your nrecord.log files only cover a few minutes - and doesn't include the times of those recordings.

I see... thanks. Maybe I will try recreating the list manually to see if there are new conflicts. :o

As for "suspicious looking", I suppose you mean the suspicion of me being not being a normal home user. I assure you that I am a home user. I have so many recordings, but I seldom watch them all, and delete many on a daily basis. They are totally for my personal consumption only, if I had time to watch them all I would have watched them all. :o

it will come down to the exact order of the recordings and allocation of the tuners. While you may have tuners on the same frequency as is needed for these other recordings, if we could analyze the logs we would find that no single tuner was available on the correct frequency for the entire time needed for the recording in question. I proposed a logic change that would help in many of these cases but it was soundly rejected, so as far as I know nothing is coming in the next release that will help.

A very funny but pleasant phenomenon happened.

I went to do an export of the recurring recordings, and deleted the existing recurring recordings. After that I imported the recurring recordings from the xml file. The priority of the recordings are scrambled up and not according to that of the deleted ones, but a pleasant surprise is that there is no more missing recordings generated in the pending recordings list.

So I reckon that somehow, the exporting algorithm or importing algorithm has a mechanism to decide the optimal priority order of the recordings so as to be able to record everything.
