Video Streaming Mode

I boot OpenELEC into X-NEWA Web Client. Does changing the streaming mode in X-NEWA settings have any effect when using the Web Client? They all appear to work except VLC.

The web client will use the same playback mode configured x-newa but you might just be seeing it fall back to Native in a couple of modes ie.

PVR mode will only use sub's streaming protocol if the PVR addon is running.

Direct mode will only work at my house to stream HDHR/HDTC to XBMC directly. I was designed to show how to allow an exit to URL's the Kodi/XBMC understand and bypass NextPVR for LiveTV
