Happened a couple of times in the last few days, never happened before.
With 2 DVB-T2 nano sticks and 2 T2 muxes here in the UK, Live TV has been thrown back to the Main Menu (with the device needed for a recording message) to start a recording on the other mux. Immediately going back to the Live TV program from the menu starts the other tuner and it can be watched.

Is this the expected behavior? I would have thought the logic would be to use the idle tuner for the recording.
If this isn't expected, one of the very resent patches may have broken something and I'll set up some scenarios and post the logs.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

You'll probably need to post the logs showing the scenario so we can see why it did this.

NPVR can only move the current recording to another tuner to keep live tv running; it can't move every upcoming recording. If you are watching TV on your first tuner at the same time a recording is scheduled to start, the recording can only be moved to another tuner if it's free for the entire time needed for the recording; if moving the recording would require moving the next recording too, it won't happen.

If you actually do have just two muxes and two tuners, just put only the channels from the first mux on the first tuner, and the channels from the second mux on the second tuner. Then you will never have a conflict again.

I've actually got 4 tuners DVB-T x 2 PCIE and 2 DVB-T2 USB for 5 DVB-T and 2 DVB-T2 muxes.

Logs for the incident attached - It was around 10:00 on 24-01-2015 Looking at the logs one of the USB tuners may have been having stopping issues (taking way too long) Perhaps all that is needed is a cold reboot - usually sorts out USB hiccups. If its of any help epg update is at about 05:15 every day. Obviously NPVR log for the 24th is long gone.
