HEVC (H.265) support

HEVC looks to be the next big thing. Win 10 will support it out the box.
I think LAV supports it. No idea if it would require a lot of changes....

There is some initial support for it in the next release. There isn't really any broadcasts using it yet though, other than some trials in Berlin.

Hi Sub, I was more interested in being able to play h.265 videos, rather than h.265 over dvb-t. They still broadcast in good 'ol mpeg-2 here Shame Oz didn't wait for the .264 standard.

You should be able to do that already, assuming you've got H.265 capable decoders installed. Installing the LAV decoders / splitter should get you going.

Yeah, I hear you. I'm pretty please NZ went with H.264.
