Hi,
I've searched the forum but found no answer that I understand. I was using MediaPortal with Frodo 12.3 and everything was working great, until my motherboard died. I put my OS hard drive in a new system, and everything except MediaPortal worked again. So I've had to start over with Kodi 14.2 and NPVR. Single Windows 7 system, not on a network, and a Hauppauge HVR-2210 TV tuner card.
I've setup and shared a recording folder in NPVR settings, but I see no options for time shifting. In Kodi Live TV the channels work correctly, but the pause, rewind, and fast forward buttons are greyed out. I'd like it to start recording whatever channel I'm watching on Kodi as soon as I switch to that channel, so that I can rewind back to when I started watching it, or pause, without having to manually record each channel. Is this possible with NPVR?
I've read on this forum people say to "uncheck the 'use live preview mode' setting in the config app", but I have no idea what app they're referring to. I don't see that option on NPVR, Kodi, or WinTV8. What am I missing?
Thanks
