EPG on-screen display questions

Questions:

1. Is there a way to enter a channel number when the EPG channel guide is displayed and have the guide refocus to the channel entered, as does WMC?

2. Is there a way to have the guide display start listing channels on either on the currently tuned channel or last viewed channel list view rather than start at the beginning of the channel list every time?

1. did you try it? it works for me. you do have to hit enter/ok after the channel number

2. that's how it works for me, whenever I bring up the tv guide it defaults to the currently tuned or last viewed channel. I'm not aware of any setting that would change this behavior

1. I was fooled in that I didn't see any numbers displayed when I entered a new channel number, but after entering a new number, as you mention, then pressing "enter" afterwards, it does tune to new channel - I didn't know that - thanks!

2. I wasn't clear, I meant to say that "after restarting npvr", having the guide list start from where it was last tuned.
