It all started with a recording which would not play!

certainly seems odd, since the fix was on the recording side. I can go back to any older recording and they're still just as broken when played back on 3.5.7 as they were before. clearly there was more than one problem going on.

I should have added the word "New"!! NEW recordings from the previously problem mux now play normally. Old problem recordings do now play but that is because I remuxed them.
