Did you have the correct inputs selected when you did the 'update to current settings'? If not, do it again, with the correct inputs selected.

Thanks Sub. Thanks to your knowledge, order has emerged from apparent chaos. Input signal and channel changing are both present. It's a little like whack-a-mole!! I've learned I need to look around and double-check every dialogue box and setting every time because there may be more than one mole moving around underground...
