crossnet Wrote:What was the problem? Did it have anything to do with Win10?No, nothing to do with Win10. It just related to some stream logging logic I added in 3.7.7. I didn't forsee a scenario that could cause a crash. One of those mdmp files showed me where it was going wrong.

How do we know when an update has been made? It still seems to have the same version number and I didn't see an announcement.

I've taken to keeping the last exe file around and periodically downloading a new one to see if it changed. I think it would be better if the version would go up each time the installer gets tweaked, or at least have a last-updated date next to the download link. Or even move the download into a directory that has an auto-list feature so that we could visit something like http://nextpvr.com/download/ and see the last-modified date of the file before downloading. |
