First, I want to apologize that I don't have log files. This is an issue for my sister I am trying to hunt down and forgot to pull the logs before I made my 200 mile drive home. Will get them later if needed.
I won't bore you with the background, but due to recent digital cable changes, Time Warner Milwaukee, we were reinstalling NPVR 3.7.7 (latest version as of today), and found that neither tuner would pick up all the ClearQAM channels (local broadcast, not a copy protection issue). I believe the issue is that they have also switched the Clear QAM to be Switched Digital channels. Luckily I had a backup of previous tuning and just copied all my NPVR folder over and confirmed the channels can be viewed in live tv of NPVR with that last tuning, except two that appear to have switch frequencies as well.
I read in another post about Cton IninTV handling this type of tuning specifically for switched channels. Does anyone know if there is a way to get switched digital channels to automatically tune for the Hauppage 2250 and Avermedia MythDuet A188C without having to rent a digital converter box or whatever they would recommend. I have posted questions to the manufacturers as well, but might get a faster response here.
If not, is there a way to manually add the channels, assuming I can determine their actual frequencies?
