Japan ISDB-T support with B-CAS card

Hello,

I was reading in some previous threads from 2014 that ISDB-Tb support was been worked on and was implemented.

I was curious in regards to the broadcasting formats used in Japan. Japan uses ISDB-T, but also requires tuners to have a B-CAS card (similar to CABLECARD in the U.S.) to decrypt channels. Are there any planned additions of this? Is there anything I can do on my side to help make this happen?

Unless the ISDB-T tuner device takes care of the B-CAS stuff automagically behind the scenes, then you're probably out of luck - it's not the sort of thing I'll be able to build in support for.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I will query some other users already running the B-CAS tuners to see how it occurs. Hopefully it is handled by the tuner.
