Ok epg collector has been annoying me (was really good for ages but lately been playing up)

I have dvb-t and dvb-s tuners

For dvb-t I was using epg collector for data which was good (now its crap)
dvb-s used the broadcast epg data (works great)

So I switched dvb-t to use dvb-s for epg data.
But now i get random no data on dvb-t ive tried extending the scan
really strange as it gets the data from the same place for both dvb-s and dvb-t but only dvb-s fully populates

Hope you get what I mean

So it's working ok?

Reading your post I had started wondering if there were issues with collecting the data for both DVB-T and DVB-S NZ in the same system, since most of the channels (and their underlying IDs etc) are the same.

I've confused myself and probably you

It's only in Dvb-t I have had issues
I thought when I selected dvb/atsc epg On the Dvb-t tuners it got the data from Dvb-s (don't even know why I thought this)

So for the past 2 weeks have had Dvb-t set to use dvb/atsc epg and have been getting random no data in epg but only at random time and places. (like from 6 pm till 9 pm on say TV3, then on prime from 8pm to 12 am) just random.

So just for the record what i have done ( last night)
Set scan time to 90 seconds instead of 60
Upgraded to lasted npvr 8.3.8

This morning seems ok just posting so I can keep a record of what I have done.

It only really only does that if you've merged the channels on both the devuces - so you've only got one "TVNZ 1", with two sources (DVB-T and DVB-S). Are yours merged or separate?

Also turn off 'update DVB EPG during live tv', since this can sometimes lead to patchy EPG.

I have them separate so I record things like the news and soaps on Dvb-s and movies etc in hd on on Dvb-t

I checked again before I left for work and noticed a couple of no epg data from Dvb-t guide data but alot less than I had before the upgrade and changing the scan time.
