Database Changes

If I wish to make scheduling changes to npvr.db3 directly using SQLite, I'm guessing the proper procedure should be:

1) Exit NextPVR
2) Stop NRecord service
3) Make changes
4) Restart NRecord service
5) Invoke Nextpvr.exe -recurring

Will this process work for making scheduling changes outside of NextPVR? Any other dependencies?

At the risk of stating the bleedin' obvious ... I'd add ... 2A Backup npvr.db3
