I had not had the issue since installing the nshared.dll file but have just checked this morning and it's back. I did have an issue when I installed the patch as I put it in the wrong place which then broke my clients but I thought I had sorted it till today.

Can I get confirmation that the nshared.dll file goes into the c:\program files\npvr\ directory as there is also 1 in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\Bin (which is where I put it). Also I think what I did when I worked that out was put the old 1 back. Just looking at the digital signature of that file I put back dates it at Sunday 20th Aug 2017 whereas the one in this thread is 24th of September 2017. I'm picking I just put the old 1 back

Confirmed for 32bit. On 64bit that is c:\program files (x86)\npvr\

This is happening for me. I have a combination of OTA via HDHR and IPTV and it is happening on both, as well as watching live tv. At the same time it prevents kodi from talking to pvr (even though I can reach it via my modern-web-interface. To fix I manually stop, then start the recording service to clear it. I am on 4.05, so my question is should I also apply this .dll?

If you've got 4.0.5, then your wont need any patch from this thread. Your best bet is to create new thread, describe what you saw happening, and post your logs.

This latest post reminded me that I did not report back. The fix provided solved my problem. Additionally, now I have updated to 4.0.5, I have not seen this issues arise.Smile
