File name without periods

I'd like my my file names not to have periods. I've changed my config.xml as follows:
<FileNameReplaceSpaceWithPeriod>false</FileNameReplaceSpaceWithPeriod> What else do I need to do or is it not possible. For example I get the following: Myshow.S01E01.ts and I'd like to see Myshow S01E01.ts Thanks for any help.

Yes that's it, except the subtitle is in there too, but it only applies to future recordings. I never liked the default it makes files look like illegal downloads.
