Okay.. I currently have a PVR150, in my new box I'm having difficulty with a solution... Here they are:

PVR150/PVR150mce - 2 tuner
PVR150/PVR500mce - 3 tuner
PVR500mce w/ USB-UIRT - 2 tuner

I can get 2 PVR150mces for $134, one PVR500mce for $136. If I go with the first option I plan on getting two PVR150mce, replace the one in my current box with a 150mce and put the new 150mce and current 150 in the new dedicated HTPC box.

Suggestions? Comments?

My suggestion.

Think of the number of overlaps (in recordings) you have. For me I only have two tuners which generally is enough, but every so often there are three programs on at the similar times that I have to record, so I'm considering a third tuner.

Hope it helps

yeah that's why I'm going to keep a tuner in my workstation (the current box I'm using), the new box is dedicated to PVR work and my current cable company rented DVR records 2 shows at once, about the most I've needed in years... I just can't decided if the 500mce is a better choice (I've got room with 5x PCI slots) or seperate 150s..
