Of course computers don't actually require sleep; but in NRecord you were also getting "device failed to start" errors with live TV, so a new tuner with drivers certified for Windows 10 might be the best solution. I can't very well recommend specific DVB tuners because we use a different system on my side of the pond (you are in the UK I gather), but perhaps someone else can.
