EPG won't populate TV Guide

Sorry about deleting the other two original messages. But I was unable to remove the attachments via FULL EDIT - REMOVE ATTACHMENT button.

Martin thanks for letting me know that the NPVR logs had some personal data on 

The problem is that my EPG bat is updating but it is directed at my old v.4 NPVR folder that I deleted yesterday and not to the new v.5 NPVR-data folder.

Can you explain again about inserting the >NUL command in my Bat file to make it go to the correct NPVR folder?


NOTE: I am still learning my way around on how to use all the features in this Forum.

First you have the problem wrong it seems to download correctly but when you mapped your channels originally you mapped them to from v4 epg.xml so it still looks for it there.

BTW since sub has great built in Schedules Direct EPG support and I hate supporting zap2it this is my last post to you on it. If you were paying for support you would certainly have paid for a year of Schedules Direct by now.

As Martin said - it sounds looks like it's downloading your listings just fine, but you've got your channels mapped to your old xmltv file, not your new one, so it's not seeing your new listings.

I finally understood what you meant when I looked at my channel's XML it is showing the old NPVR folder.



So I deleted all the channels on my device and once it finishes scanning I will try to show the correct folder in v.5. when I change it to XML.



What I don't understand it was working fine for over a week until two days ago.



EDIT: I just finished scanning and now am updating the EPG.


I went to CHANNELS and on the drop down Menu it still has the old NPVR folder and not the new one for XML.

Can I change it in Config.xml file for NPVR?


I edited CONFIG.XML file and inputted the correct path to v.5 folder.

Great news, Now the TV Guide is being populated again. Unbelievable that it was such a minor change in Config.xml file.

I will look into Direct Schedules to see how much it costs.
