I wasn't able to reproduce it here with a manual recording. The recording completed ok (with colon stripped from filename), and the recording was showing as successful in the UI.
I agree with sub, I tried a manual recording and an hour ago and got back and it was fine so I did some deeper digging. Looking a your logs this same recurring rule worked
Unless sub is doing quantum recording the recording service can't be running and not running at the same time. Something doesn't sit right with this one.
Not for me, but you might need to check if you have multiple copies of V5 (perhaps in NextPVR and NPVR) running. The missing log information for the 20th would be what is needed. Perhaps the Window event viewer would help.
Best I can tell is that there is only a single occurrence of any V5 components. V4 NRecord service is manually disabled and was not running.
I'm not quite sure what what you mean about the log information for the 20th. That time frame is in NRecord.log.2 of the logs posted in Post #1. Is that what you mean?
I just wanted to see why nrecord.log.2 might have been stopped short. You have two rules for at least one of those shows as I showed above it is not clear where the duplicate 71093 was even added that generated the error message when you did the manual epg update of NextPVR.

Hmmm. I think I recall that when I went through my Recurring Recordings that I noticed two entries for that program. I deleted one of them but maybe after the other one started?
