Recording options in NextPVR

I read somewhere on this bulletin board that the linux version of NextPVR does not have any recording options using the web interface or maybe it was the non-web interface -(I cannot remember because I uninstalled it)? I was just wondering if this is still true? I had installed it and could not get any recording options. I love the many recording options on NextPVR for Windows -for example, record using a particular channel. I recently bought a raspberry pi 4 and tried to port it and to my dismay, those recording options were not there.

Not true, the web interface is the same on Windows and other platforms. What you can't do is use the "lighter" devices for transcoding live tv or recordings but they serve Kodi as a player well. If you setup knewc in Kodi you even get the same UI as the Windows NextPVR client.

I have managed to re-install NextPVR and now I am getting the advanced recording options via the web interface. Thanks.
